Collection and Use of Information
In general, you can visit our site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. In order to better provide you with our services, our site collects two types of information about its visitors: Personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information.

When you purchase a subscription, we request that you send us personally identifiable information. We will only contact the recipient with the weekly letter that you have subscribed to. You will be notified by email every time a letter is sent to the recipient, including the information that was received. Personal identifiable information may consist of: you or your recipient’s name, address, email address, subscription purchased, and any other information you may provide us. We use personal identifiable information for internal purposes, such as confirming and tracking your subscription or registration, analyzing trends, and statistics, and informing you of our new services. Personally identifiable information is compiled by us and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis.
We may contract with third-party companies or persons to provide certain services including credit card processing, distribution, and data management (“Service Providers”). We provide our Service Providers with the information needed for them to perform these services. We also ask our Service Providers to confirm that their privacy practices are consistent with ours.
Placing an Order/Subscription
When you place an order/subscription, we require you to provide us with personal information. We use this information to give you a customized experience and to process the subscription you placed with us.
For your convenience, personal information you provide to us online to set up your personal and recipient accounts are saved and stored only after you click on the “save” button. This includes information such as your billing address, email address, and all other information you provide on the profiles. Your personal account is password protected from third parties. If you forget your password, you may access your personal account by requesting your password from us (go to top of home page) and then signing in with that new password that will be emailed to you. Afterward, you may change your password; edit your personal and/or recipient information at any time.
Security
We use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your order information as additional protection against the decoding of that information by anyone other than us. However, despite all reasonable security precautions and processes, such as password protection, encryption technology, and use of firewall technology, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our Site, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will take commercially reasonable precautions to protect its security on our systems.
Your password will be your personal, secret entry codes to access your personal account at our site. When you access your account information, it is kept on a secure server and a password is needed to access any account areas. You can change your password as many times as you like. We recommend that you keep your password in a safe place and that you always sign off your account and close your browser window once you have finished your visit. Child Protection
We take special care to protect the safety and privacy of children. Our site is a general audience site. Consumers making purchases on our site must have a valid credit card and be 18 years of age or older. It is the policy of Linked Together not to collect personal information on any person under the age of 18 and we request that any person under the age of 18 not submit any personal information via our site.
Opt Out/Modify
We will send you a weekly email that informs you that a letter was sent to your recipient(s) and the contents/story that your loved one received. Within that email there will be a link for your convenience to access/update your profiles and the personal message box.
If you choose not to receive the weekly e-mail, please send a request to sally@linkedtogether2u.com asking to opt out of this weekly service.
From time to time we will send you information if you selected to receive information or promotional emails. If you decide you would like to opt out, please send an email to sally@linkedtogether2u.com notifying us of your request to opt out.
Your Consent
By creating an account with Linked Together, you consent to the use of your personally identifiable information by Linked Together in the manner specified in this Policy. We, however, have the option to change, modify, or add to the terms and conditions of other policy at any time. We will inform you of any material changes by posting the revised policy on our site 30 days prior to implementing the change. Any customer who does not agree to the revised policy has the option to opt-out. The policy will go into effect on that date posted. The new policy will apply to all current and past users’ of our site and will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent.
